...I once was lost...
Limboville 居士
I want to climb
Mt. Whitney, a very high mountain, I heard it's one of the highest in California(?). I didn't know exactly where this mountain is, and
Mapquest,
Google maps, etc were no help as entering "Mt. Whitney" got some curse back. I know Mt. W is in Death Valley so I decded to head there and ask along the way. I'll find my way. I began my journey from Malibu at the intersection of Highway 1 and Mulholland. The temperature was hot, so I took the coastal route to Death Valley. Following the directions given by folks I met along the way, I ended up in
Bass Lake at the Pine Resortafter two days. I'm told by the good folks at the resort that I am on the right direction and more than half way to Mt. Whitney. It's just over the Sierra range toward East.
Here are a few pictures of the last two days...

Passing through a nice park. Can you recognize it? If not, I pitty you and you should stop whatever and go there ASAP!
My Name is Joey. I'm an actor want to be, currently working as a dog. This is my serious/reflective "look" a la David Caruso (I hope to make better career choice than Dave).

Do I look the part?

Don't I look exactly like David? How about this?

I'm in the role of
CSI: Yosemite Great Western Animal detective. There are many animal murders in the area. Many animals are caught off guard by people hunting in violation of many rules and regulations. For instance, evening deer hunting is not allowed but many of bambi's brothers and sisters are murder after dark. Some people illegally use night vision scope and spot light, even IR scope to search out animal body resting in hiding. Heat seeking homing magic bullet that can turn corner is available for the right price and $99.99 + tax at http://www.peta.arm. People drive camouflage 4x4 turbo diesel Hummer. The deers and bears are trained to fear two legged animals but they don't know 4x4s can kill. Hunt but obey rules so my friends can live in security. But because of all the ambush, animals live in constant fear. Is a little peace from 8pm to 4am too much to ask? Many now suffer from trauma and anxiety, needing psychiatric treatment and eat anti-depression lace leaf. Emotional sickness is not covered by the health insurance.
CSI: Yosemite's mission is to enforce hunting rules and make sure rules of engagement are obey by all so that animals can have 6 maybe 7 hour a day of peaceful rest hours.
(This concluses the script treament of CSI: Yosemite: Great Western Hunting Crime Fighter. Option to the script is available at a very unreasonable price. Please contact my agaent to discuss details. Please don't call, he will call you. err...)The water falls in the park were spectacular and there are so many! So suspending the trek to Mt. Whitney and take a break to explore, I heard a voice from high up (I think it was my head). There were many flowers, butterflys, even a brown bear (surround by lots of tourist with camcorders and cameras). The ripen wild barry were amazing, tasted so sweet. I've not tasted any fruit like this from Albertson or Ralph. Not even Food Lion ( was it Lion Food? can't remem ber as it was way back in Texas). Along one of the hiking trails, I saw this.

I was moved by his words. John Muir is a cool dude ...

...early in the morning. High up in the sky was the Moon and to they East the Sun was shining bright; With not a soul around, the park was all mine. The air was briskie like the brrewskie last night. Later in the day, when the temperature got hot, I dipped into the Merced river for an hour and forgot what I was doing...I think I know why it's called Merced...
Oh, my driver:

"ding ding ding...." the phone rang this morning and it was the office. Appearently there is nothing urgen or important for me to tend to but "I must go back asap." ....G darnitshickbuckU!
Oh yes, I met Dr. Winston from New York. He is on a spiritual jouney "Searching for God". He reads the Bible, and I Qing (
易經). I ask why I Qing and he said that's the original bible... As I'm in a hurry to go back to the office, I'll save his talk for next time.
